The British aristocrat and millionaire Sir Edward James built this garden with its surrealistic concrete structures entwined by the jungle vegetation, in midst of an idyllic rainforest called Las Pozas or El Castillo del Ingles as the locals say, close to the village of Xilitla. |

| Sótano de las Golondrinas |

Sotano de las Golondrinas, the Cave of Swallows, with its depth of between 330 m and 370 m, is one of the world’s deepest pit caves. Thousands of swifts (birds similar to swallows) and parrots live in the niches of the vertical walls and offer an unusual spectacle when they circle around the entrance of the cave. |
| Cascadas de Micos |
The waterfalls of Micos are like a set of stairs where the river Tamasopo gradually makes its way down. Several natural pools are perfect for swimming. |

The ancient Aztecs called this place "Tam-Azote", Place of Waterfalls and yes you guessed correctly, there are several waterfalls and small lagoons around the lovely village of Tamasopo. |

The Rio Gallinas forms the spectacular Tamul Waterfall that crashes down from a height of 105 m on the Rio Tampaon. In the rainy season the breadth of the waterfall can be up to 300 m. |
